What are the linguistic correlates of personality traits?

The Dark Triad survey is used by clinical psychologists to identify the personality traits of Machiavellianism, narcissism and psychopathy. In order to calibrate survey results and correlate them with linguistic measures of personality, we need to better understand how the general population scores on this test. You can help advance our understanding by answering the 27-question Dark Triad survey and participating in a series of language related tasks that will be aggregated with those of other participants to show how the whole population performs on these tasks. Please answer all 27 questions so that we have a consistent and complete dataset for research. Once you answer all 27 questions you can stop. There is no final submit button needed as the task records each individual response as you go.

Also please note that these tasks are intended for research purposes only. We do not diagnose participants and we ask that you please not mention any diagnosis you may have received or suspect. Your anonymous responses to this survey and language oriented tasks will be pooled with those of all other participants.
